put it in 1st gear.

so a few weekends ago i had accidentally not put my car into 1st gear once i had parked. (i drive a stick, obvi.) and i think all will be jolly. i have been completely mistaken after a few hours of nice sleep, my friend laura comes in the room and tells me that my car had rolled away, yeah i know your laughing. so i get up and walk to the door and the chp asks me if i own a black jetta and, of course i walk all the way down the street and conveniently next to a light pole, was my car. i guess it rolled down her driveway and all the way across the street to hit a light pole. its like 3 am and i start to drive my car back and i stalled on the way up to the driveway, it was completely embarrassing to tell me parents that story, but it happened. this is where i'm gonna relate it to life and maybe it might be funny, but all i am gonna say is don't be a retard and not put your car in 1st gear when you park, and maybe just stop to think about things, slow down, don't rush so much, we can wait.

#8) SAVE YOUR SCISSORS

people. they are the only things in life that will really let you down. I'm not trying to be all emotional here and say that i hate everyone, actually i love a lot of people. I'm just saying that in the end you can trust yourself, don't let anyone/anything tell you different. why? because you have no idea what they are thinking what there next move might be, the next thing you know check mate, you're done. other people care about their laughs and their cries. we all have brokenness but were the only one that really hears our cries our hurt your the only one. how can you trust someone who doesn't feel what you feel? so, stay strong for what you believe in, don't let people drag you down, climb your mountain don't let people climb your's. take glory for what you have accomplished, be proud of yourself, and save your scissors.

read and be wise:

#1) IF YOU NEVER TRY YOU'LL NEVER KNOW

if i'd never try pole vault, i would've spent an entire track season in ninth grade not doing pole vault. i and think its way better to launch yourself over a bar with a pole than to not launch yourself over a bar with a pole. if id never tired, i would never have known that i could launch myself over a bar with a pole. i might have spent the rest of my life deep in thought, wondering if i would launch myself over a bar with a pole. i might not be an Olympic gold medal-winning pole vaulter, but i c an look anybody straight in the eye and say that i can launch myself over a bar with a pole. and believe me, when you know you're able to do something like that, it gives you incredible peace of mind, even if you came in last place.

#2) IF EVERYBODY WINS, NOBODY LOSES

If you create a win-win or mutually beneficial exchange, then everyone wins. Think about trade and exchange for a minute, they're all just win-win situations. this for that, that for this, those for these, our lives are built around the idea of an exchange of goods, services, and most of all ideas. sure, you can form arguments about potentially exploitive forms of exchange, but you can imagine a life without the exchange of ideas? if you can, im amazed you can read this. language was once idea. somebody told me that once.

#3) IF YOU WANT IT GET IT!
nobody is going to hand it to you on a silver platter. its not that people don't like giving thing on silver platters and give them to people that actually seems fun. its just that most people don't have silver platters.

#4) LOOK OVER THE FENCE
the grass isnt neccessarily greener on the other side, but maybe it is. listen to the advise of other people, but remember that we all see color differently. what may be less green to someone else might be greener to you.

#5) LETS ALL BE NORMAL.
so to all the people trying to be "different" or stand out from the crowd, im afraid you have been mistaken. my theory behind this is that, everyone tries to be different, even if your trying to fit in or be normal, so if your trying to be different your just being normal. because everyone is doing it right? so to be different you would just have to be normal? but if were normal were different? so basically were all just the same? how? if were different? if your trying to be normal your trying to be different which would make you try to be normal. i think ive just lost myself. lets just be ourselves.

#6)EMOTION IS A POWERFUL THING.
some very wise person who's name will not be mentioned once told me that the first emotion was love. im guessing he told me this to increase my spiritual drive to fall in love. wouldnt it be weird if i feel in love with him? or would that be confusing? yeah, im pretty sure the first emotion was confusion.i mean look at cavemen they have no idea whats going on, or maybe there just high.

#7)EAT CHIPOTLE AND BE MERRY.
need i say more.

#8)WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY.
or spiderman is really busy. you have to be responsible for what you do because spiderman isnt always there. i know we always want him to, but he just isnt so lets all suck it up and look in the mirror and stair at ourselves. why? because we just love looking at ourselves, until the mirror breaks then we must buy a new mirror and will have 7 years of bad luck, its just being responsible. so have some respect for yourself and others BE RESPONSIBLE.
